Tuscan Renaissance Travel was born with a love and a passion for Tuscany and the Renaissance. Doug and Karen Hibovski first traveled to Italy in 1990 for their honeymoon. Since then they have studied Renaissance history and art in a University setting and began taking small groups to Tuscany in 2001. They love to share their passion for the landscape, food, wine and art, and have found a beautiful villa in the rolling hills outside San Gimignano. The villa is an old farmhouse with lovely bedrooms and many places to relax. The countryside around is beautifully lined with olive groves and vineyards.
